Good to know
- What is the minimum age to enrol?
- We welcome students from age 4, with the exception of vocal lessons, which begin at age 7. Our Junior Academy is designed for ages 4 to 7.
- What is the difference between instruments and courses?
- Instruments are one-to-one lessons in piano, violin, cello, voice, and guitar. Courses are group classes: Junior Academy, Advanced Music Studies, Music Production, and Music Theory. Students enrolling in Advanced Music Studies may also opt for one-to-one lessons.
- What happens if I miss the intake for a course?
- Our courses run multiple intakes throughout the year, so you can enrol in the next available one. Late enrolment is sometimes possible if there is still space and you are able to catch up on any missed content. Contact our team and we will be happy to advise you on the best option.
- How long and how often are lessons?
- Each lesson is one hour, or 50 minutes for students aged 9 and under. Lessons run weekly, four times a month. In months with five weeks, you may pay for the fifth lesson or take a break.
- When is payment due?
- Fees are paid monthly and due on the first lesson of the month. In months with five weeks, you may pay for the fifth lesson or take a break.
- What if I cannot attend a lesson?
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel and receive a make-up credit, which can be used in the fifth week of the month or towards additional lessons. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are charged as scheduled, and lessons missed without notice are not eligible for a make-up or refund.
- How do I reschedule a lesson?
- Rescheduling can be arranged directly with your teacher, as early as possible. Once a new date is confirmed, please let the admin team know.
- What if I am away for more than two weeks?
- Please notify your teacher or the admin team in advance if you expect to miss lessons for more than two consecutive weeks.
