Lessons develop literacy, musicianship, creativity, and critical appreciation, with close, steady attention to notes, rhythms, and keys, harmonic realisation, basic orchestration, and voice leading.
Methods & repertoire
Through listening to the music you love (not limited to classical), composing new pieces, and harmonic analysis, lessons are tailored to your goal, whether studying for an exam, understanding a genre more deeply, or simply learning more about how music works.
To take a fine idea and make something great of it, that is the hardest thing to do; that is what real art is.
Fees
Group study of music theory and aural listening, from Grade 1 to Grade 8.
Develops the written and listening foundations behind strong musicianship, from notation and harmony to aural awareness, preparing students for ABRSM and Trinity theory examinations alongside their practical study.
