Adele Wee

Adele is a Singaporean, Boston-based multi-instrumentalist, performer, vocalist, composer, arranger, and music producer. A School of the Arts (SOTA) alumna, she built her foundations in music theory and studied violin under Chan Yoong Han, performing with orchestras including the Singapore National Youth Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Music Makers, Kids' Philharmonic, and the Music for Our Young Foundation Orchestra in Hong Kong, in concerts such as the SSO Gala: Ray Chen Plays Sibelius and Martha Argerich & Friends.

Immersing herself in the Berklee contemporary scene, she has developed advanced expertise in jazz harmony, production, sound design, orchestration, conducting, and arranging. She is pursuing a double major in Film Scoring and Electronic Production and Design at Berklee College of Music on a full tuition scholarship.

One of my greatest mentors once told me that raw talent alone would not take me far, but the good news is that much of what we call talent is within our control. The mind is a fascinating thing: depending on how we choose to develop it, we can become almost anyone we want to be. At the heart of it, these talents are patterns we can build and replicate. So if we want to learn, let's learn.
