Voice (Contemporary)

Farhanah

Farhanah is a vocalist and performer for whom singing begins where words fall short. She is pursuing a BA (Hons) in Acting at LASALLE College of the Arts (University of the Arts Singapore), where she also earned a Diploma in Performance.

Her path began in secondary school with Fame the Musical, and since then she has explored the full vocal spectrum through a cappella, writing original music with her band Chamomile, and weaving song into devised theatrical work. She specialises in helping singers connect deeply with their repertoire, discover a stylised, personal sound, and build a versatile technical toolkit, whether they want to unlock their singing voice or develop character-driven storytelling.

Growth happens when students feel safe enough to fail. My studio is a judgment-free, playful space where mistakes are treated as essential steps toward discovery. I encourage singers to drop their inhibitions, embrace experimentation, and move past the fear of sounding bad to find what makes their voice truly unique. Nothing a little humour can't help with.
