Marion Lee
Marion Lee is an artist excelling in vocal mastery, music research, and songwriting. Her musical journey began at four with the piano, evolving into a specialisation in classical voice complemented by piano and accordion.
A recognised mezzo-soprano, she won a silver medal at the 2023 Asia Arts Festival. She has taught vocal techniques at Vox Camerata and currently explores the cultural impact of Cantopop and K-pop, studying classical voice and pedagogy at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts under Singaporean baritone William Lim.
My teaching combines structured instruction with active student engagement. I believe students learn music most effectively when concepts are scaffolded clearly and reinforced through guided listening, comparison, and practical application. I prioritise building musical vocabulary, confidence, and independent listening skills so students can apply their understanding effectively in both examination and real musical contexts.
