Rahwani
Rahwani is a triple threat known for her versatile, captivating vocals across ballads, R&B, and pop, singing in English, Malay, and Bahasa Indonesia. A mezzo-soprano, her wide range and command of vocal placement let her tell a dynamic story within each song.
She began professional dance training at five, and her early immersion in the performing arts, as both performer and director, gives her a deep understanding of what makes a live show memorable. Her accolades include first place in multiple singing competitions and best actress in a nationwide acting competition.
Now a freelance artiste focused on live acoustic and a cappella singing as well as film and theatre acting, her current projects include a Friday-night residency at Margaret Market.
Each learner's experiences shape how they absorb material, so I tailor my teaching and communicate in ways that resonate with the individual. I create a safe space through open communication, cultivating curiosity so students can eventually diagnose and solve their own problems. Ultimately, music is individual expression, and building healthy vocal and mental habits keeps singing enjoyable while the discipline learnt in class carries over into everyday life.
