Music Production
Tang Xue Qing
Xue Qing is a music producer specialising in R&B and hip-hop. Her journey began with classical piano before she pursued a Bachelor of Contemporary Music (Honours) at UCSI University, where she developed her arrangement skills and was first introduced to digital audio workstations.
Her songwriting and production have earned an Honourable Mention at the SongDoor International Songwriting Competition, semi-final places in the UK Songwriting Contest, and a Top 10 finish in the Levi's Remix Challenge. After several years teaching piano while producing on the side, she completed a Master of Music in Music Production, Technology, and Innovation at Berklee Valencia, graduating with Distinction, and continues to develop her craft through collaborations with artists.
I believe every student possesses creativity, and my role as an educator is to help them discover and develop it. Inspired by Herbie Hancock's belief that artistic growth is deeply connected to personal growth, I design learning experiences that encourage openness, collaboration, and each student's creative voice, fostering a lifelong love of learning where curiosity and adaptability let them keep growing long after they leave the classroom.
